I doubt anybody believes this as strongly as I do – might be like "yea maybe" at best – I believe that we on Twitter are the tip of the spear of a global earnest nerd renaissance, and that people will make youtube videos about us this scene in retrospect

yea there will likely have to be some intermediate steps between the two. At the time when I made this, even the idea of cultivating a scene seemed a little distant, so I wasn't too hung up on specifics yet

I wouldn’t be surprised if 3 jumps directly to 5. The economy over the past 10y was mostly great as a whole but centralized in a few big wins. Similarly, I think a golden age for humanity could come from a few big wins (ai, happiness psychotech, etc) we’re likely to contribute to

bullish is the good one right? i can literally never remember the valences of “bullish” and “bearish” sound the same to me. “i’m a large violent animal when it comes to this”
imagine how they attack: bulls horns go up (up is good), bears claws go down
