Thoughts on a norm of putting your happy price for an hour of your time, spent however (within reason) in your display name?

one thing i've learned about myself is that i don't have a happy price that's independent of the other person. there are people i'm happy to talk to for hours for free and there are people i wouldn't want to talk to no matter how much they paid me

Makes sense, but are there not people in the middle category, like Twitter people who follow you but you don't know well?

sure. but the general point is it’s heavily a function of the other person. basically any happy price i could name publicly, there are people who could ask me for my time at that price and i still wouldn’t actually want to
