Totally fine and unharmed, but I was just eating in sf restaurant and someone walked in said “I hate techies” (I think bc I had AirPod Max around my neck) and sort of tried to attack me, someone held him back, he said “I’m not nervous for what’s about to happen” I darted out

got a laptop stolen once this way in berkeley :/ but i did track it down! the woman who stole it tried accessing my google wallet and that generated google account activity history that was geolocated, i called pawn shops near the location and asked them to keep a lookout

ah no that's not what happened, this was awhile ago but iirc she googled pawn shops in the area so i called the ones she looked at? anyway it worked, one of them got back to me saying they'd seen someone bring my laptop in, they told her to come back later, called the cops
