wait guys i honestly don't think this is good. more attendees for a totally new event with a totally new crew means more opportunities for things to go wrong (worst case i'm imagining is like someone has a psychotic break on drugs)

yeah, this has me a bit worried too—I'm worried there won't be space to set norms that organically grow out of interaction because of the overwhelmingness of the entire thing

the good news is we passed the attendee threshold needed to get access to the second half of the camp. so we've doubled the available area, allowing us to spread out a lot more and maintain a certain coziness that way

oh nice! that does still have me wondering about safety stuff (maybe i should ask about this on the discord or maybe it's already been answered somewhere), e.g. who to turn to to if someone gets drunk and rowdy or w/e
