this is maybe worth elaborating on b/c i think it responds to one of people's main criticisms about the feelings stuff i'm into you descend into the underworld but it's not in order to hang out there forever. it's to find a gift and then *bring it back to your people*

this also gets at something i've struggled to articulate about what it is i think i and the people i feel most similar to are trying to do here on twitter. we're not here to make friends or get cozy, not exactly. frankly we're here to die and be reborn

Once you've seen the depth it's hard not to focus on them But I think it's the role only reads as "a burden" to the overworld. The witches hut is cozy for the witch

Also, the entire world descends into the underworld/the unreal at times. I'm thinking of post Soviet stuff and the loss of a narrative, the collective confusion and loss. IMO we're going through this right now too
