it's kinda haunting to notice how a bunch of people who were really interesting in 2005-2012 are now stale, boring, repetitive, caricatures of themselves. I want to believe that i'll be able to avoid this, but the odds are not promising

i honestly don't have a list, i wasn't paying much attention to the blogosphere or anything at the time (except for lesswrong towards the tail end)
