not sure but i think that "play recording" might mean the spaces is considered to have already ended and you might have to start a new one?

also i have questions but i can't figure out how to request speaking permission and others might be in the same boat

i think you need to enable some kind of "allow listeners to request permission" thing??? otherwise i have no idea why i can't find it
