it might be because i’m a cryer and really sympathize with dealing with repressed emotion, but seeing a woman say it affects her attraction to a man to see him cry makes me a little defensive. i thought we were past not seeing men as capable of strong emotion as women

Honestly it was refreshing to hear someone say it out loud. Most of the world is not even close to past this, but there is so much pretense to moral virtue around this. I'd rather have someone be honest with me about their feelings than lie to my face and silently judge me.
