i think part of why this idea feels appealing to me is, there appears to be a certain level of non-innocence in the lens we view our adult selves through? like it seems like a certain sense of impurity is assumed when we look at ourselves in these "mature" forms. --

if like, instead of some cartoon avatar, it turns you & everyone in the room into a realistic copy of yourself at a younger age. so we're all like 6 again, running around like lil maniacs but also having deep intellectual conversations
