0. gendlin focusing. this is the very first therapy-like thing i ever encountered and i sometimes still return to it as a kind of "home base." gendlin seems to have been onto something very deep here. it wasn't enough by itself for me tho

1. the NEDERA process / the bio-emotive framework: this stuff lowkey saved my life. taught me how to cry alone. highly recommended particularly if you feel like you really struggle to describe / express your feelings

2. internal family systems (IFS). i actually have not done this much but i've been doing it more recently and it's real good. i like it a lot as a conceptual framework for understanding what's happening with other modalities

3. ideal parent figure protocol (IPFP). this stuff is so powerful i'm often scared to do it. i barely did a tiny bit of it awhile back and it made like 30% of my anxious attachment relax. i'm dipping back into it more now and it's amazing

oh huh, I bought this book out of recommendation but had no idea it was IPF

it's dry but really detailed and there's some cool case studies and stuff. and unlike the course i was linking to this was written by the founder
