one of the ideas that fucks me up the most is the possibility that people who strongly believe some psychological theory will sort of polarize everyone around them into acting in accordance with that theory

some of these theories are such that you can map whatever happens to them
But I suspect a huge factor is that the way people vibe influences how other people act around them
If you draw people into an emotional outburst that's what you're going to see

Whereas some people have basically a dampening field on emotion around them

I realized what effect I have on people in my proximity by examining the effect I have on dogs. Even undisciplined, disobedient dogs come to heel at my command (no exceptions yet) much to their owner's chagrin.
