i'm sort of torn. one version of the book i could see enjoying is just a concise practical guide to shadow work with lots of case studies (case studies are fuckin' tight). another would be like that but interspersed with more of your personal journey / autobiography

This is actually really helpful.
I think I can combine the two. I like books that teach you skills through narrative and this sounds like a fun project to work on.
