ok but consider: batman can feel like he earned his fighting ability the hard way through effort, superman's were a gift from his parents

if we wanna dig into the emotional realities of the characters I still sympathise more with Supes for being a literal alien and having to suppress himself to function amongst humans who both need him & are deeply suspicious of him. Bruce has work/life separation, can walk away
