I knew nothing of either one, I pretty much just wanted to be an x-man. That feels closer to super saiyan, if I’ve absorbed what that means through cultural osmosis?

it is closer yes. having the powers yourself as opposed to needing to control a larger thing with powers. which X-man tho, or if a custom one what powers?

Telekinesis and/or teleportation always seemed like the obviously correct answers.

I am remembering exactly at this moment that my favorite power-set was a mutant named, no joke, ‘Magik’, who could teleport through time and dimensions, and at some point learned energy magic in those other dimensions.
It appears I have always been who I am.
