I honestly believe that dating is a scourge & we need to erase the concept. Do stuff with people you like and then marry one of them. Doesn't matter which one as long as they're attractive. Get drunk and punch your rival if one shows up. If it fails just accept loneliness.

lmk if this is legit, if they're cached beliefs, or if this is true but only for guys <25, but ime: 1. 99% of straight, single men will only hang out 1-on-1 with someone ~female if the guy is willing to sleep with her-- which would be okay on its own, except... 2/?

2. the guy *will not* make this clear to the girl, so she has to guess his intentions 3. if the guy realizes that he's never going to sleep with this chick, *at best* he will awkwardly distance himself and stop hanging out 1-on-1 (often he'll be openly resentful) 3/?
