there are parts of my process or my practice or w/e you wanna call it that are actually pretty important but idk how to talk about them. one is a move that is like “allowing the body to do what it wants” and that’s where all the shaking and hyperventilating come from

Interesting. I used to use it in my process as well, but I felt a bit uncertain if I wasn't "making things up". Especially since the movements were repeating a lot.

i don’t think repeating is necessarily bad but hard to say. sometimes i think the process can get stuck because the really truly desired movement is outside of your awareness
i def get what you mean about the “making things up” but i’ve come around to being like, movements don’t really have truth values, it’s fine, i can just mess around and do a weird little dance for no reason that doesn’t have to mean anything in particular

Hmmm, interesting. I revisited the practice today and realized some things. One is that I used to approach it as "trying to get something out of my system", hoping that after I allow the movements and will "go through the whole natural sequence", they will go away.
