there are parts of my process or my practice or w/e you wanna call it that are actually pretty important but idk how to talk about them. one is a move that is like “allowing the body to do what it wants” and that’s where all the shaking and hyperventilating come from

I had to grok the sense in which, like, "that weird stuckness you feel is actually repressed movement impulses" and then allow them to actually act

and another part where I had to trust, in some sense, that I knew what sensations correspond to "making things better" - applies to both physical and emotional debugging

grabbing a lacross ball, foam roller and/or stick roller and just self-massaging whatever pressure points and muscle knots feels good while doing whatever stretches or movements feel right is such an underrated move
