Glicyne in high doses has a benzo-like effect, and people ensuring benzo withdrawal say it rekindles the symptoms. They advice against taking magnesium glycinate as well.

I'm not personally familiar with this but I stopped cold turkey after travel, I was doing ~1.5g of mag glycinate a day for ~3 months. I'm not sure what a huge dosage is or if there are any other factors at play, I'd def check into it if concerned tho
