i do think there is something to the "just do stuff anyway" flavor of advice, although i've had a lot of trouble with it historically. i think it felt too self-coercive and i didn't know how to do it while, like... making sure my internal babies didn't feel dismissed or ignored?

ah sorry i misunderstood, i like that! it's v compatible with coherence therapy stuff too, they're really big on reclaiming agency for emotional stuff that seems like it's "just happening" including depression. i haven't tried this as a separate move yet 🧐
