Why aren’t people talking about the almost-supernatural ability humans have to detect intent (and other extremely subtle things, listed in the preceding tweet)?
This stuff is very common (dance, Alexander Technique, martial arts) and science pros act as if it’s contrascientific.

When I did martial arts in high school one of the things we practiced was getting out of the way of a (wooden) sword strike by someone standing behind you by detecting their ‘intent’. It didn’t take all that much training to be decent at it!
