Your math posts on MO and M.SE and your blog helped me a ton in undergrad. You have an approach to understanding math that resonates with me so strongly, and I see so few people with that kind of mathematical aesthetic.

aw thanks! i'd actually be really curious to hear you try to explain what you think that aesthetic is? i agree with you that there's a distinct one and it's uncommon but it would be refreshing to hear your words

I think whenever we're doing math, there's a lot more going on in our heads than just the symbols, a kind of cognitive semantics, and the semantics for the same math can be very different between two people,,,

I think you generally have very good semantics, and the aesthetics I like is that you're not afraid to communicate them, and you do that well
