I used to pretty much always drive away from my parents’ house weeping with rage, frustration, disappointment, lonliness, repression or some combination of the above.

i s'pose i should probably share about my own situation. i'm still living with my mom, we're gonna do a small christmas eve dinner. i still don't know how to talk to her about anything important. so we just don't really talk. kind of in a stalemate :/

she has backed off a lot after i yelled at her very loudly twice about not talking to me like i'm an idiot (i'm exaggerating this - examples are like asking me multiple times if i want a coat), which i appreciate, but we haven't really made any progress since then
