this is maybe a dumb question but are there places in the world where you go out to vibe with, like, strangers at the mall and they seem generally happy rather than unhappy? idk if i’ve ever lived in one

The only place a "strong public happy vibe" has ever really hit me was Vancouver, down by the water / Stanley Park
People of all ages, teens to elderly cycling, skating, rollerskating, chilling with friends listening to music, smiling & laughing
The older people had young souls

Said in Canada ppl live their lives
