Haha yes Turkish Delight is a real thing, it’s a type of confection/ candy that emerged in the Ottoman Empire and is still produced widely today in Turkey. The versions in the US are not that great but the original ones in Turkey are delightful!

Also, “Aslan” means “lion” in Turkish. CS Lewis was into Turkish culture, hence the Turkish names/ aspects in the series
