i would've liked veggies more as a kid if i had been exposed to lentils and chickpeas i think. lentils and chickpeas are tight. whereas i did not like eg carrots as a kid and i still don't like em now

carrots are so pointless. i have never once in my life enjoyed eating a carrot. i begrudgingly admit to enjoying the color they lend chicken curry katsu and that's about it

Not even a fan of carrots fried in a skillet or cooked in the oven? They get so much tastier

Carrots roasted at about 425F or 450F for 30-45 minutes (sliced lengthwise, drizzle with oil and salt) taste like PASTRY. Some of the starches shift to sugars. Phenomenal. Or shoved (wrapped in foil) in coals for 30 min.
