i would've liked veggies more as a kid if i had been exposed to lentils and chickpeas i think. lentils and chickpeas are tight. whereas i did not like eg carrots as a kid and i still don't like em now

carrots are so pointless. i have never once in my life enjoyed eating a carrot. i begrudgingly admit to enjoying the color they lend chicken curry katsu and that's about it

do you like bibimbap? That made a big difference in my teens for my opinions on veggies

Kidney beans are my jam

I really love beans btw. No idea why I never ate them before I had to after going vegetarian. I'm not a strict vegetarian any more, but I still eat ~90% plant-based, largely because I just love kidney beans

Seriously don't like carrots and ranch? Roasted carrots with brown sugar? Carrot cake?

Yeah, roasted carrots are great. Boiled or steamed carrots are disgusting. Most people don't know how to cook veggies, resulting in millions of people hating veggies simply because they don't know they could be prepared in a delicious way.
