For any of what you wrote there to make sense to me, people must be experiencing coffee addiction a *lot* differently than I do. I drink coffee everyday and it's...a very small part of my life. I do enjoy drinking it, but it's not something with a ton of downsides or anything.

Occasionally I'll go a stretch without it and...again, it's fine. No bad effects. Doesn't occupy many brain cycles. Etc etc.
