i don’t buy that most cheating is about novelty as such 🤔 i tend to assume it’s about gunk that builds up in the relationship that you don’t know how to clear. no gunk with a new person

... i think point is you should let go of your need for the image and accept that you will be seen to be naked and real and genuine and work from there.

And vice versa. You are free to see the new person as an ideal projection of what you want without reality getting in the way.
