a few weeks ago i passed by the fat boy ice cream sandwiches at safeway and i felt such a strong desire for them it was almost sexual. i ate two whole boxes and felt very bad b/c gluten and now i don’t want em anymore. no idea what happened there

my gut desires for food seem to be bad at generalization. like they don’t have “contains gluten” as a basic concept, i have to lverify different gluteny foods independently and check that they make me feel bad. but checking does seem to work if i just let it work tho

Well, one thing that comes to mind is that this is the core of how aversion therapy works; pairing a craving or experience with a sufficiently strong negative stimulus. Also you might have just over-saturated to the point of prolonged satiation. Might fade eventually, might not.
