i have been woken up by "scam likely" calls *on my ipad* twice now. this is the most cursed shit ever. why does my phone allow these calls by default and why does my ipad also take them by default. why. whyyyy

as revenge i disabled "allow calls on other devices" on both devices, disabled notifications on the phone app, and also (after some googling) disabled "scam likely" calls by dialing #662#. if i could just delete the phone app i would. nobody needs that shit anymore

apple and t-mobile failing to disable "scam likely" calls by default has permanently destroyed my relationship to receiving calls. good job guys. literally never want to do it again

i just can't follow the reasoning here. why in the name of god would you develop the capacity to filter out spam calls and then *still allow them to go through*

how did we get here? phone calls have been ruined, email has been ruined, and there's literally no good messaging app. messenger and twitter DMs are both, last i checked, missing basic features like being able to see unreads only. twitter DMs can't be marked as read

i used to not feel at all capable of relating to people who like, yelled at appliances for not working right, but i guess i’ve been feeling more irritable lately because i could really go for some yelling at inanimate objects and software these days
