I want to take better care of myself but typically when I act on this I take on too much too fast & don't gain a lot of ground overall SO if you had to choose ONE healthy habit to commit to FIRST, which = highest priority/most helpful in meeting other future goals

i haven't had much success committing to healthy habits. i think there's a lower-level thing where i'm just constantly dissociating from my body's very basic needs (like rn i need to pee and am not peeing) so i've been focusing on just not doing that

like the more structural issue is this disconnect between my body's basic needs and what i'm doing at any given moment and i figure if i work on that disconnect everything else will happen at the appropriate time, water or exercise or w/e

i've had some success with just noting, like saying "i'm thirsty" or "i need to pee" out loud or in my inner monologue. sometimes i focus on the location of the bathroom or the cup of water or w/e

i guess you could say the main issue is collapsed awareness and this is about regaining awareness of both 1) a need and 2) the path to resolving the need. i think once they're both in awareness motivation / action should mostly follow. wonder if has thoughts 🤔
