Isn't it kinda weird how singular is only used when the quantity is exactly 1?
Like, of course for quantities above 1 we use plural
But we also use it *under* 1: "0.5 apples"
Even 0! "0 apples"
Oh yeah look at all these multiple *absences of apple*
