i taught at a summer camp every year from 2013 to 2019 and in 2018 my orientation towards the kids shifted from lowkey kinda feeling like one of them to feeling protective of and responsible for them

Yeah there came a moment when seeing conflict between teenagers and their parents I started identifying more with the parents side, even if I didn’t agree with their methods of handling that conflict.
