This year it was really obvious that I'm on the downslope, accelerating into mature adulthood rather than climbing up the hump. The most fundamental change was cultivating a way of relating characterized by care, responsiveness, taking responsibility for what is.

"cultivating a way of relating characterized by care, responsiveness, taking responsibility for what is." oh yeah! very into this definition of adult! i think this has happened to me in different areas of my life for a long time... some areas when i was young in years

it's correlated with less and less dissociation from areas of my life, the tipping point was in the last two years where i reclaimed my voice, accepted who i am from an ecological standpoint, and commited myself to be responsible for big domains in my family and for my own growth

very cool insight into your own growth - as dissociation decreases, opportunity for responsibility and growth increases perhaps *taking* (accepting) those opportunities leads to becoming more and more “adult”
