does your body stay completely still during jhanas? like it doesnβt spontaneously move at all??

yeah no movement

wow. thatβs literally unimaginable to me because my bliss states are always accompanied by movements of my body or even like, vocal toning? and sometimes literal yoga poses. like iβve gone into these several times before, spontaneously because the energy βtold me toβ.

hmm. well think iβve somehow lost my ability to get into jhana then lol.
i first started getting piti from meditating w/TMI, & later it evolved into this (spontaneous kriyas). when i meditate on pleasure (like jhana instructions say), the pleasure builds up, rises and rises upβ

my central channel, then the energy spills into other areas of my body, until the urge to move, often in specific repetitive motions, arises
its blissful too, just action packed. when it happens i kinda just let go of the reigns & fall into the bliss as my body moves on its ownβ

i really want to know what the jhana you guys are doing feels like, compared to what i feel when iβm in the states i just described. is it the same feeling but just physically still?
or is being still necessary to reach higher levels of bliss that iβm not currently aware of ? π€

it's hard to know exactly, but yeah in the jhanas even small movements will knock me out, and this is also what most of the books say
