Does the “something that it’s like to be x” framing move you? In other words, there’s something that it’s like to be QC, but not something that it’s like (presumably) to be a bottle of mouthwash?

Right, although it’s not clear whether it’s a “property” or if there’s some other way of thinking about it. Another tendentious example to probe the intuition: there is something that it’s like to be you without a foot but not something that it’s like to be you without a brain.

Ok, another: the “something-that it’s like to be you” does not include, in this moment, the number I’m currently thinking of. In other words, your consciousness is informationally encapsulated in some way.

I actually think this is conceptually distinct? We have qualia (hard problem) but the question of the privacy of that qualia seems like another matter
