In other words, there’s something that it’s like to be QC, but not something that it’s like (presumably) to be a bottle of mouthwash?

Right, although it’s not clear whether it’s a “property” or if there’s some other way of thinking about it.
Another tendentious example to probe the intuition: there is something that it’s like to be you without a foot but not something that it’s like to be you without a brain.
