I’m building my theory of why men overuse the word “cute” for girls, I think it feels like a safe, not too hyperbolic descriptor when they don’t want to ADMIT to being smitten

Ngl I never really understand what anyone means when they use that word for adults. Seems like it can mean almost anything in dif contexts

When I say cute I think of the Japanese term kawaii, if you Google 可愛い女の子 you mostly get adult women that are attractive, either behaving in a more infantile way or with more infantile faces (rounder)
