some years ago a rationalist told me about a book whose basic thesis was something like "anyone can learn math" and iirc it sort of discussed strategies for getting better at learning math, very growth-mindsetty. that ring a bell for anyone? maybe?

thank you, that's the one! i was going to add "pretty sure the author was a woman" but i wasn't sure if i was confusing it with drawing on the right side of the brain
Would also recommend the ‘Learning how to learn’ coursera course which is a lot of the same content in a different format

Also I’m excited to go through it again because her diffuse mode sounds like it has a lot in common with my expanded awareness
