also this (specifically the phrasing of "neutral became the default" / "rumination was the default", which somehow felt fresh / prompted me to pay attention to thinking slightly differently in the days after seeing it)

For me there was a serious of shifts where neutral became the default unless I was actively deciding to do something. Before rumination was the default and i didn’t know how to “do” neutral, because getting there required *not* doing things I was already doing by accident
