The number of men enrolled in college this year trails women by record highs, part of a nationwide education gap. Nobody wants to talk about it. https://on.wsj.com/2WSJity
remembering that one TLP post about how when men leave a field it's a sign that the real power has gone elsewhere, and womeb enter it chasing an outdated perception of where power is supposed to be
we learned in 2020 that a college education didn't successfully teach anyone how to think and a shocking amount of real intellectual work comes from autodidacts fucking around on social media
just burn the colleges to the ground at this point
The main problem with this theory is that it begs the question by locating power where men are. Power is where material agency is. If a man drops a gun and picks up a knife and a woman picks up the gun, I’m betting on the woman winning the duel.
College is still quite a gun.
College isn't a gun or a knife. It's advanced technical training in the weapon you already loved.
Much love to Ip Man, but in a fight I'll take the person with the Glock over the Wing Chun master every day.
