going through old clothes and throwing some things away and realizing how hard that is for me, even though i'm not throwing away as much as i could, my heart rate is up and i feel slightly nauseous like something dangerous is happening

the most comforting thing i’ve found is to let memories associated with the thing arise and feel stuff about them and then thank the thing for being a part of my life
