my pov on being very careful about who you follow on twitter has shifted from “it’s how you have a good time!” more towards “it’s literally how you avoid this website driving you literally crazy”

In my experience (simplified): to make it to 10k followers, you have to get really good at doing great replies, which means being attuned and sensitive to other people
and to survive past 10k followers, you have to get really good at ignoring things and letting them go
