I have a few ideas about what could have gone wrong in the 60s, but I haven’t researched that much, and obviously I wasn’t there. Why do you think the hippies failed in elevating the global consciousness and living happily ever after? How can we avoid the same mistakes?

What were the failure points in the 60s scene? I've never seen anyone talk about why the scene died Just loads & loads of nostalgia for it

Thanks, this was a fascinating read! For what it’s worth this to me seems like a success story—after all these years the farm is still running in this form or another, and there are still new people who want to join and start their initiatives. Much better than an average commune
