i knew MIT had a nuclear eng program but it didn't occur to me until yesterday to check and, yes, MIT also has a reactor, "the second largest university research reactor in the U.S. and the only one located on the campus of a major research university" and i never visited 😔

As for the climbing wall, a favorite moment there was running into some fellow up at the wall climbing but occasionally taking measurements of the holds. Turns out he was there as an MIT student’s boyfriend, and also professionally employed as a climbing hold designer/MechE. Fun!
