okay random question: when you order salmon at a western restaurant it's always served skinless. why? properly cooked salmon skin is so delicious

Haven't found this to be the case in the US but maybe you mean, like, explicitly country & western-themed restaurants in which case I dunno

i'm thinking of like slightly nice diners? not actually sure how to describe the class of restaurants i'm referring to. they'll have a salmon dish that's like $15-25 and it'll be served with maybe potatoes of some sort and no skin that i can remember
