i took lessons for a few months in college but mostly i sang a lot growing up

not meant as a response, but this prompted a thought - I only recently realized that singing not at full volume is just as "valid" as singing in medium/quiet volume i.e. singing can potentially be more(!) enjoyable even without belting.
