yeah i’m not sure i’d last 2-3 months, would definitely have lost my shit within the first year

the good news is that rationalists as housemates are extremely quiet. it just meant i couldn't be super loud myself a lot of the time

for me there’s just a different mode of being that i’m stuck in if someone else is in the house. it shuts off my access to some things. kind of a constant low-level vigilance. completely fine for the first while but if it stays like that for too long, too much pressure builds up.
