fair warning, a bunch of these are pretty outdated. i would rank mob psycho 100 season 2 above a bunch of the other 10 ratings now. and the one punch man rating is for season 1 only really

(incomplete list, v infrequently updated) I don't get how so many ppl rate Puella Magi so highly, I couldn't muster the strength to watch past ep3

madoka gets a lot better in the second half, but also i couldn't be bothered to finish a rewatch i attempted awhile ago. the first time through it struck me a lot tho

also my god episode 3 in particular is a hell of a place to stop. you really have to see how it pays off later to evaluate it, it's not shock for shock's sake at all imo
I might only like madoka as much as I do because there’s an epic 600k+ word ongoing post-scarcity interstellar war fanfic set hundreds of years in the future that takes it as canon.
