sort of the same thing again but adapted specifically to this case: it's not loving or compassionate to let other people's shadows control you. you can demonstrate your own freedom from their shadow and maybe it'll help them see that they can be free too

oh, also, the world is very big and if other people get triggered by you doing the stuff you really want to do then you can just be further apart. that bit is actually important too

This might be closer to the problem I sensed initially-- like, some versions of love are gonna have to be super indirect or abstract or something, due to super high conflict from those who would be very not okay with me being/doing me fully, even in a pretty good/aligned way
